| Tails 64 12/02/21 6:13:41 PM #1 | I asked this question a couple years ago, and some people had some interesting responses. Let's go again. The last two games I've played are Metroid Dread and Makai Kingdom (a spin-off of the Disgaea series). If I had to make a crossover of these games, I'd suggest a Metroidvania where Samus leads a bunch of demons exploring labyrinth-style netherworlds. The demons you get have different abilities, and they level up as you go along. Some of the monsters you face could be from Metroid games, others from Makai Kingdom and the Disgaea games. It could be neat. I mean there is an overarching "plot" to Mega Man, and it does exist during the classic series, but it doesn't really become the focus until the X and especially Zero series. Oh also in the classic series, 9, 10 and 11 are all worth playing too. But those were made years later, after X, Zero and even ZX had wrapped up. And there's also the Legends series, which are cannon, but those are very VERY different from the rest of the series. Hmm. Part of the reason why I'm asking is that I haven't played a Mega Man game outside of the Battle Network series, and I'm considering dipping my toes into other parts of the franchise.
